Project Outline

During this assignment you will learn how to create a blog using www.wordpress.com. You will then update your blog daily for 30 days. Most of the time you will be uploading and analyzing your own work, but you will also occasionally research other photographers too. At the end of the 30 day period you must choose your 5 favourite photos from this experiment and explain why you think they are successful.

Visual recording is an essential part of good photographic practice. This assignment challenges you to get in to the habit of recording the world around you on a daily basis. Forcing yourself to take photos every day will teach you to be discplined and productive, two essential qualities of the successful photographer.

Learning how to identify the strengths and weaknesses of both your own photography and that of others will also help you to improve as a photographer. Casting a critical eye over your work and working out how to refine your ideas and techniques will ensure that you are always developing.

Each day, you’ll be given something in which you will have to associate your image with:
